JOIE 樂行｜雙面車況立牌設計JOIE Taxi — Reversible Status Sign

車況牌最重要的，是讓車外的人一眼看懂，也讓車內資訊保持清楚。

JOIE 將「暫停載客」與「接客中」整合在同一張雙面車況牌上，透過翻折切換狀態。朝向車外的一面傳達即時車況，朝向車內的一面則保留品牌與聯絡資訊；上方的半圓造型讓 JOIE 標誌在折起後依然清楚可見。

設計過程不只處理平面視覺，也從實際使用情境出發，檢視不同角度下的辨識度、折合方式與車內外的閱讀關係。案例中以攤平稿、結構示意與情境畫面呈現設計邏輯，再透過連續影像呈現兩種狀態之間的轉換。

材質與光影則刻意保持克制，讓紙材的厚度、折線與印刷質感成為畫面的主體，也更接近實際成品所希望呈現的觸感。

A vehicle status sign needs to be understood at a glance from outside the car, while the information inside should remain clear and useful.

The JOIE sign brings two driving states into a single reversible piece. By folding the card, the driver can switch between OUT OF SERVICE and ON CALL, while the opposite side retains the JOIE identity and contact information. The semicircular tab keeps the brand visible even when the sign is folded.

The design was developed around the way the sign is actually seen and handled inside the vehicle. Rather than focusing only on the flat artwork, the project looks at viewing angles, readability, folding behaviour and the relationship between the inside and outside faces.

The case study presents the flat layout, structural logic and in-car context, followed by a sequence showing how the sign changes from one state to the other. Material and lighting are kept restrained, allowing the thickness, folds and printed surface to define the object.
